Petit Forestier Group expands into the Scandinavian Peninsula

Petit Forestier Group expands into the Scandinavian Peninsula

Petit Forestier Group, the leader in sustainable refrigerated rental, announced that it has acquired Igloocar Nordic, Igloocar Norge, Igloocar Sverige and Isovan. This investment will enable the Group to settle for the first time, along with Lecapitaine, in the Scandinavian peninsula. These acquisitions will once again enable the Group to keep on conquering market shares throughout the world with a direct footprint in these 3 new Nordic countries where it did not previously have a presence.

Since 2004, these companies have been the official distributors of Igloocar Poland, a subsidiary of Lecapitaine, in the region. They specialise in the sale of refrigerated vehicles and refrigerated bodies in their respective geographical areas: Denmark, Norway and Sweden.

These Scandinavian companies currently manage a portfolio of high-quality customers, including dealers, cold logistics specialists and bodybuilders, and have achieved sales of €5.6 million in 2023.
Léonard FORESTIER, CEO of the Petit Forestier Group, said: “This operation will enable us to make further progress towards our ambition of becoming the leader in sustainable refrigerated rental by strengthening the distribution of our industrial activity in these 3 countries”.

Case Study – Effect of Louvers or diffusers on air flow distribution and cooling time on a meat log during Chill cycle

By Kushal Aurangabadkar An experimental analysis was conducted on a cooler space measuring 3.66 m × 6.096 m (12.0 ft × 20.0 ft), equipped with an ammonia refrigeration coil, five 30 cm (12 in.) fans, and five diffusers. The study measured airflow patterns, cooling rates, and heat transfer efficiency in meat storage by testing two configurations:

Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for Modular Refrigeration Systems in Life Sciences Distribution Centers

by Ramez Naguib, P.E. Introduction Life sciences distribution centers are under immense pressure to deliver consistent temperature control, comply with increasingly stringent regulations, and optimize operational efficiency. Traditional built-up refrigeration systems often prove cumbersome, costly, and slow to implement. In contrast, modular, factory-assembled refrigeration systems have emerged as a compelling alternative. Drawing on lessons from
