Rhenus Group Introduces Rhenus Fresh Perishables Transport in Spain

Rhenus Group has launched its new Rhenus Fresh service in Spain, providing temperature-controlled, door-to-door logistics for perishable items such as fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, and seafood. This service addresses the rising demand for efficient and sustainable fresh produce logistics in Spain.

Rhenus Fresh extends its successful model from Northern Europe, Asia, and Latin America into the Spanish market. The service offers global maritime and air transport solutions tailored for perishables, with a dedicated team to manage imports and exports to key regions like Europe, Latin America, and Asia.

As a major fruit and vegetable producer, Spain benefits from Rhenus Fresh’s comprehensive logistics, which supports Spanish exporters and importers in accessing new markets. Marc Ortega, Head of Sales for Rhenus Air & Ocean in Spain and Portugal, noted the company’s goal to solidify its leadership in Spanish fresh produce logistics through the Rhenus Group’s global network. Joseba Varela, Head of Rhenus Fresh in Spain, emphasized the expansion’s role in accessing new markets for high-quality Spanish perishables.
