Wolseley Group has announced the acquisition of Logicool, a specialist in air conditioning and heat pump systems. This strategic move aims to enhance Wolseley’s renewables portfolio by expanding its product range and training capabilities.
Logicool, known for distributing top-brand heat pumps, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, provides comprehensive pre-sales and after-sales support for various projects. The acquisition will enable Wolseley to become a complete end-to-end supplier, aiding customers in improving energy efficiency.
Simon Gray, CEO of Wolseley Group, expressed pride in adding Logicool to their portfolio, noting its crucial role in growing their renewable solutions. Logicool will keep its brand identity and continue operating with its existing team.
Logicool’s Managing Director, Karl Richardson, highlighted the company’s ambitious growth plans, including investing in stock, facilities, and apprenticeship programs. He sees the acquisition as a means to access necessary resources for achieving their objectives amid market changes.
