Vertiv has announced a global ecosystem for end-to-end thermal and fluid management in AI-scale liquid cooling infrastructure. The initiative combines an expanded collaboration with Dow and a new partnership with Solenis, integrating cooling infrastructure, fluid chemistry, monitoring and lifecycle services.
The expanded Dow collaboration operates through the Dow Coolant Care Network, while Solenis contributes expertise in specialty chemicals and water treatment. Together with Vertiv’s infrastructure and service capabilities, the partnerships aim to help operators maintain fluid quality, address system issues and optimise liquid cooling performance throughout the equipment lifecycle.
The ecosystem covers heat rejection, chilled water infrastructure, facility and technology cooling loops, coolant distribution, filtration and leak detection. Services include engineered flushing, precision filling, commissioning and fluid chemistry management, with an emphasis on compatibility between fluids, materials and infrastructure components.
Vertiv’s Next Predict monitoring and analytics platform provides visibility into thermal infrastructure. Continuous monitoring, integrated leak detection and data-driven analytics support early issue detection, operational efficiency and water utilisation. Fluid management services address both technical and facility water systems according to operating conditions.
“Operators need to manage thermal infrastructure, fluid health, monitoring and lifecycle service as one interconnected discipline,” said Ron Bednar, Senior Vice President of Global and Americas Services at Vertiv. “We believe that managing these complex interdependencies and fluid chemistry together will help operators improve system efficiency and uptime, reduce risk and extend equipment life.”
