Emerson E360 Forum Addresses Latest Industry Concerns

Emerson  recently hosted its tenth day-long E360 Forum in Newark, New Jersey, providing more than 100 commercial refrigeration industry stakeholders with a wealth of insights on food retail and foodservice regulatory concerns and emerging trends.

The E360 Forum, held on August 24, featured a keynote session from Jon Melchi, Heating Air-conditioning and Refrigeration Distributors International (HARDI) vice president of government affairs and business development. Melchi provided context regarding the degree to which the active regulatory climate is shaping the industry, including the 25 major rules targeted at the HVACR industry since the beginning of the Obama administration, which have had a financial impact of roughly $76.6 billion in costs to the industry.

Other sessions focused further on regulatory challenges as well as certification programs to help the industry adapt to the rapid changes, the changing refrigerant landscape with a focus on global efforts to phase down hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) refrigerants, and the consumer demand for fresh offerings and its impact on both large and small retail formats.

Recorded sessions include the following:

How Can Refrigeration Architecture Help Improve Operating Efficiencies?

Understanding Leak Detection and Implementing Effective Programs

System Upgrades That Impact Sustainable Energy Efficiency and Cost Savings

CO2 Systems: Trends, Benefits and ROI

How Trends and Technology Will Impact Retailers

Navigating the Changes With Refrigerants
