Cooling equipment and refrigeration technology specialist HAUSER is investing around €2.7 million [approx. $3.2 million] in a newly built site in Austria to support further growth and expand capacity. The facility includes modern offices, a warehouse, a drive-in service area and additional apprentice training workshops.
The approximately 1,700-square-metre (18,300-square-foot) site provides 68 jobs across specialist departments responsible for service, installation, sales and scheduling for Austria. HAUSER said international business will continue to be managed from other locations, including its Urfahr site.
The facility includes a 140-square-metre (1,507-square-foot) apprentice training workshop with a dedicated tool-testing area. It features a training room equipped with cameras for hybrid sessions, enabling apprentices from other sites to participate, as well as practical training systems and control panels for refrigeration and electrical engineering.
“This enables us to actively address the shortage of skilled workers and strengthen the image of the dual vocational training system,” said Rupert Danninger, Head of Training at HAUSER.
“With this expansion, we are creating additional jobs, increasing our capacity to support further growth and, at the same time, making a clear commitment to vocational training,” said Thomas Loibl, Managing Director of HAUSER GmbH.
