Carrier Japan has introduced Abound HVAC Performance, a digital lifecycle solution aimed at improving HVAC system reliability, energy efficiency, and operational comfort. The new platform, supported by a 24/365 Command Center launched earlier this year in Tokyo, enables real-time monitoring and proactive maintenance for commercial HVAC equipment.
Product Overview
Abound HVAC Performance builds on the features of TCCR-NET, Carrier Japan’s existing remote monitoring system, and integrates with GL-17 refrigerant leak detection guidelines from the Japan Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Industry Association. It supports continuous digital monitoring, wireless cloud connectivity, and alarm management, offering insights for preemptive maintenance and reduced system downtime.
The system is compatible with water-cooled and air-cooled heat source systems and can be retrofitted with a secure gateway to connect existing equipment to Carrier’s cloud platform. It is delivered through BluEdge, Carrier’s global service and aftermarket brand, which focuses on lifecycle support and minimizing operational risk.
Operational Benefits
The combination of Abound HVAC Performance and the Command Center allows Carrier Japan to shift from reactive to proactive service models. Customers benefit from faster diagnostics, planned maintenance, and optimized energy consumption, helping protect long-term equipment health and reduce costs.
“The Command Center, combined with Abound HVAC Performance allows us to offer a more comprehensive suite of lifecycle solutions, enabling real-time monitoring and quick responses and resolutions from data-driven root cause analysis,” said Toru Kubo, President of Carrier Japan.
Market Context
Carrier Japan’s expansion of its aftermarket services underscores its commitment to delivering smarter, data-driven HVAC solutions tailored to commercial clients. The launch aligns with growing demand for connected systems that ensure compliance, reduce environmental impact, and enhance comfort in diverse building environments.
