The TEFCOLD Group has as of November 1, 2022, acquired the Belgian company TopCold and its French sister company Mondial Groupe France.
“The addition of TopCold to the TEFCOLD Group will strengthen the group and help us serve both our customers and suppliers better, faster and more competitively going forward.” says TEFCOLD CEO Jesper Kirkeby Hansen. “We have known TopCold for many years, it is a great company with great employees and the acquisition is an important step in our growth strategy.”
TopCold was founded in its present form in 1993 and has since evolved into a very successful company within its main segment – commercial cooling and freezing. “After having successfully grown TopCold to where it is today, we are happy to pass the company over to TEFCOLD to take it into the future” states TopCold founder Marc GieIen. ”Joining the TEFCOLD Group is for the benefit of all. The customers will not only have access to the biggest stock in Europe for plug-in cooling equipment, but also to some great new products. We aim to seek the best solution for all our partners, and this can be done by adding our knowledge and strength into the TEFCOLD Group” Marc Gielen continues.
TopCold will continue to have the same management as today.
