Hitachi Scroll Compressor Launches Low-Side Scroll Compressor at AHR Expo

Hitachi Scroll Compressor made its solo debut at the AHR Expo 2025, held from February 10-12, marking its official entry into the North American market. The company introduced its newly developed low-side scroll compressor, featuring cutting-edge technology and compatibility with low-GWP refrigerants.

The low-side scroll compressor showcases an optimized involute design for enhanced performance with R454B and R32 refrigerants, promoting energy efficiency and environmental sustainability. Equipped with a high-efficiency hermetic motor and an improved load design, the compressor offers stable operation across its range while maintaining reliability consistent with Hitachi’s established scroll compressor lineup.

In addition to its low-side scroll compressor, Hitachi Scroll Compressor presented its extensive high-side scroll compressor product line. The range supports multiple applications, including VRF systems, chillers, heat pumps, transport refrigeration, and energy storage solutions, reflecting the company’s focus on meeting diverse customer needs.

“Our independent presence at the AHR Expo marks a significant step in our global strategy as we enter the North American market,” said Wisdom Hao, General Manager at China & Southeast Asia/Pacific Compressor Business Unit of Johnson Controls-Hitachi Air Conditioning Inc. “We are committed to our strategy of Full Inverter, New Refrigerant, and New Globalization. With advanced technology and an extensive product range, we aim to deeply cultivate the North American market, creating greater value for our customers.”

This launch aligns with Hitachi Scroll Compressor’s strategy of adopting new refrigerants and expanding its global reach. By focusing on technological innovation and customer-centric solutions, the company aims to meet evolving market demands while contributing to sustainable practices in the HVAC industry.
