Rhenus Ireland has confirmed the opening of a brand-new Dublin facility. Strategically located at the centre of all main motorways into and out of Dublin, 11 kilometres from Dublin airport and 22 kilometres from the city’s port, the new site will significantly boost Rhenus Ireland’s storage capacity.
Rhenus provided an exclusive glimpse of the cutting-edge warehouse and offices for its clients and partners. Extending to an impressive 11,150 square metres, the expansion is a significant milestone for Rhenus Ireland.
The new facility will provide increasingly integrated management of the company’s portfolio services across sectors, including energy management, life sciences and healthcare, industrial, retail, chemicals, food and beverage and automotive, in addition to a wide range of critical local industries.
Fitted to LEED gold standard, the new site features 12 dock levellers, two grade levels doors and a 17-metre clear internal height, supported by a warehouse roof and an in-rack sprinkler system. Additionally, the new facility boasts a dedicated ambient chamber, where temperature is mapped and monitored to pharmaceutical standards. It will be operated by 65 experienced members of staff.
The move follows the Rhenus Ireland announcement earlier this year confirming the doubling in capacity of the Parkmore campus in Galway to an impressive 20,000 square metres. This expansion was following on from Rhenus Ireland’s acquisition of Galway-based ISO-registered and AEO-certified business Source & Supply Logistics in 2021.

Open day attendees had the opportunity to explore the range of services offered, including groupage, LTL, FTL, distribution freight services, storage, pick and pack, production logistics, specialised logistics, bonded services, customs and bespoke supply chain design solutions. In addition, bespoke supply chain design and control tower solutions were also showcased.
