Safe Monitoring Group AB has acquired 100% of Italian industrial safety specialist Safety Systems srl, expanding the group’s capabilities in gas detection and industrial process safety. The transaction closed on 25 June 2026 and makes Safety Systems the 17th company in Safe Monitoring Group.
Founded in 1994 and headquartered in Milan, Safety Systems designs, manufactures and delivers turnkey industrial safety systems. Its portfolio includes gas detection, fire protection, burner management systems (BMS), emergency shutdown systems (ESD), boiler control systems (BCS) and process safety solutions developed in accordance with international standards.
The company serves the energy, chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, manufacturing and process industries. As part of Safe Monitoring Group, Safety Systems will collaborate with other group companies in research and development, sales, marketing, procurement and service.
