Viessmann Climate Solutions Joins “Heat Pump Week” with Over 50 Events Across Germany

Viessmann Climate Solutions is proud to announce its active participation in the upcoming “Heat Pump Week,” a national initiative organized by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK) and the German Energy Agency (dena). Running from November 4 to 10, 2024, this campaign week aims to increase public awareness of heat pumps as an essential technology in the transition to sustainable energy. Viessmann Climate Solutions, part of Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), will host over 50 events across Germany, both online and at local venues.

Throughout the week, Viessmann will offer informational events at its sales branches and in public spaces across the country, allowing visitors to explore the practical workings and climate-friendly benefits of heat pumps. Attendees can engage in individual consultations and gain a deeper understanding of this renewable technology’s role in reducing energy consumption and CO₂ emissions.

Viessmann Climate Solutions experts will also address common misconceptions about heat pump technology and provide tailored advice on integrating heat pumps into various building types. In addition, Viessmann’s events will feature presentations on state subsidy programs, offering insights on how homeowners can maximize these financial incentives to make the transition to more sustainable climate solutions.

The “Heat Pump Week” initiative is designed to inform and inspire consumers across Germany to consider climate-friendly heating alternatives like heat pumps, which provide an effective, eco-friendly solution for heating and cooling that can significantly lower CO₂ emissions. Through regional events and expert talks, the campaign seeks to highlight actionable, sustainable technologies for climate protection and energy efficiency.
