Enex Technologies has joined IDA – Italian Datacentre Association, which brings together manufacturers, operators and other participants in Italy’s Data Centre ecosystem. The company said the membership supports its activities in cooling for mission-critical digital infrastructure.
Enex Technologies offers precision HVAC and cooling solutions for server rooms, telecom rooms and mission-critical IT environments. Its portfolio includes air-cooled and water-cooled chillers, Close Control units, InRow solutions for high-density racks, dry coolers and heat exchangers.
The company said its experience in HVAC&R technologies and natural refrigerants is used to support operators and developers working on resilient and sustainable digital infrastructure. Its wider portfolio focuses on natural refrigerants including CO2, ammonia, propane and water.
According to the Data Center Observatory of the Politecnico di Milano, €7.1 billion was invested in Italy between 2023 and 2025 in the construction and preparation of new infrastructure. A further 83 projects have been announced by 2028, with a potential value of more than €25 billion.
