LITEON Technology has announced a strategic investment of approximately US$176 million in Poland-based DCX Liquid Cooling Systems, a provider of liquid cooling systems for AI and High-Performance Computing (HPC) data centers. Upon closing, LITEON will hold approximately 25% equity ownership in DCX.
The investment combines DCX technologies including coolant distribution units (CDUs), facility coolant distribution units (FDUs), cold plates and immersion cooling systems with LITEON’s capabilities in AI server power management, rack-level power delivery and 800VDC power architectures. The companies plan to develop integrated power and thermal management solutions for AI infrastructure and high-density computing.
Founded in 2019, DCX offers liquid cooling infrastructure including enterprise-level CDUs with capacities from 600kW to 2.6MW and hyperscale-class FDUs rated up to 16MW. Its portfolio also includes cold plates, rack manifolds and modular data center systems, with capabilities in direct-to-chip and immersion liquid cooling.
LITEON and DCX plan to expand cooperation in product development, engineering, manufacturing scale-up and global go-to-market activities. They will jointly develop integrated power-and-cooling platforms targeting the performance and efficiency requirements of hyperscale data center customers worldwide.
