Coop Montespertoli Has Been Renovated

After the usual ribbon cutting, a new chapter of the history of Coop Montespertoli supermarket (Florence) began.

<img class="alignnone size-medium wp-image-12216" src="https://refindustry.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/05/arneg-coop-500x333.jpg" alt="" width="500" height="333" />

In only 18 days of work, the store has been completely renovated with a "tailor-made" dress that perfectly fits the objective of the renewal: to create a store with a modern and cutting-edge look, aiming to improve the functionality and usability of the spaces with next-gen furniture and equipment, without losing local traditions values that distinguish the store.

To face this challenge, Coop has chosen the best Arneg Group retail solutions supplied by its partner Smart Store.

The undisputed protagonist of the new gastronomy and butchery department is LONDON 3, the serve-over counter that highlights the genuineness and freshness of displayed meat, cold cuts, cheeses and bakery products with its transparencies.

But there is more.

Arneg has furnished the store also with

- LOSANNA 2, the rear-service cabinet used for cold cuts and dairy products

- LISBONA 2, the semi-vertical cabinet used to display prepacked products such as meat and cheeses

- SANTIAGO 2, the vertical glass door cabinet used for fruit and vegetables, vegan and gluten free products

- ASTANA, the vertical glass door suitable for displaying frozen products.

All the furniture has been customized with light wood finishes and, thanks to a brand new special signage, the shopping experience has been further simplified.

Coop Montespertoli is also at the forefront of environmental sustainability with its MPC R134a-CO2 plant by Arneg. The entire cold chain is monitored 24 hours a day with a remote management that can measure energy consumption and alert in case of a malfunction.

In addition, the heat produced by the refrigeration furniture is reused for hot sanitary water and for air-conditioning, recovering it entirely.

Incold and Intrac, subsidiaries of the Arneg Group, took part in the renewal of the store supplying their best cold rooms, shelving and check-out counters.

Regarding the new services, Coop supermarket has chosen to install a system that guarantees its customers an efficient streamlining of delivery times and has activated a home delivery service. All of this in order to be ever closer to customer’s needs.

A new adventure has begun for Coop Montespertoli and we are proud that Arneg, together with Smart Store, has been able to contribute to the success of the new store’s look by supplying state-of-the-art equipment, capable of enhancing the genuine products of the territory.

On the occasion of the opening, Smart Store donated a Pachira plant to the supermarket, the proceeds of which have been donated to AIRC(Italian Association for Cancer Research - Tuscany Committee).
