ProfHolod to invest 10 million euros in installation of a second continuous line for PIR insulated panels production

ProfHolod, a Russian manufacture, intends to install a second continuous production line for sandwich panels with fire-resistant polyisocyanurate PIR heat insulation.

Investment in the project will amount to 10 million euro. Construction is scheduled for completion by 2020.

When the new line is commissioned, the total production capacity of ProfHolod PIR sandwich panels will reach 6 million square meters per year. The Company will install the new line inside its manufacturing area in the Moscow region. The size of the new facility will exceed 7 thousand square meters.

Currently Profholod holds negotiations with leading European manufacturers of equipment for PIR sandwich panels production.

“The construction industry is slowly but steadily turning towards using modern energy-efficient technologies and materials. Be it BIM solutions that allow you to build 3D models of objects, or lightweight and energy-efficient polyurethane foam insulation,” says Sergei Tokmakov, General Director of ProfHolod.

“We have decided to install the fourth line for production of insulated sandwich panels with polyurethane foam to bring advanced energy safe technologies closer to professionals in the construction industry. Over 13 years of our production experience proves that high-tech products for heat management can be created here, in Russia.”

In 2018, the total volume of PIR/PUR sandwich panels production exceeded 2 million square meters.
