MarketsandMarkets forecasts refrigeration coolers market at $6.85 billion

MarketsandMarkets forecasts refrigeration coolers market at $6.85 billion

The global refrigeration coolers market is projected to grow from USD 4.72 billion in 2026 to USD 6.85 billion by 2032, according to MarketsandMarkets. The research firm forecasts a compound annual growth rate of 6.4% during the period.

Market growth is linked to investment in energy-efficient refrigeration infrastructure across retail, food and beverage processing, logistics and warehousing, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, and industrial applications. The report also identifies increased adoption of systems using natural refrigerants, including NH3, CO2 and propane, as well as low-GWP HFO solutions.

Evaporators and air coolers are expected to record the highest growth rate among product offerings, while CO2 is forecast to be the fastest-growing refrigerant segment. NH3 is expected to remain the leading refrigerant because of its thermodynamic properties, energy efficiency and use in large-scale industrial refrigeration applications.

Stationary systems are projected to dominate the market, supported by demand from supermarket cold rooms, automated logistics warehouses and food processing plants. Retail is expected to be the fastest-growing application segment, with a projected CAGR of approximately 7–9%, while Asia Pacific is estimated to account for approximately 30–40% of market value in 2026.
