MIRAI Intex introduces MIRAI X CRYO 40 with full partial load operation

MIRAI Intex has unveiled the MIRAI X CRYO 40, a cryogenic refrigeration system engineered to operate efficiently across a full range of partial loads. The new unit is designed to address energy and performance inefficiencies in variable industrial processes by adapting output from as low as 3% up to 100% of its cooling capacity.

The system was tested with water entering at +20 °C and exiting at –80 °C, using 3M Novec 7200 as the heat transfer fluid. According to MIRAI Intex, the test results demonstrate a linear correlation between cooling capacity and power consumption, ensuring energy is used strictly in proportion to demand.

The MIRAI X CRYO 40 avoids stop-start cycling and maintains continuous operation, unlike conventional cascade systems. In such systems, power consumption typically remains high at reduced loads, leading to efficiency losses and operational wear.

The system is also designed for maximum environmental safety. It uses only air as a refrigerant, with no Freons, no CO2, and no harmful emissions. The global warming potential (GWP) of the refrigerant is zero, supporting compliance with strict environmental and sustainability standards.

“Partial load is not just a mode — it’s the operating philosophy of the entire MIRAI Intex line,” the company said in its announcement.
