Sanhua has introduced its new GBV series of stainless steel ball valves, designed for use in commercial air conditioning, freezing, deep-freezing, and other refrigeration systems. The valves are certified by both UL and PED, with a maximum operating pressure of 49 bars and compatibility with all common refrigerants.
The GBV ball valves are full-port, straightway types designed to ensure low pressure drop and efficient flow. The all-stainless steel body is combined with copper connectors, offering corrosion resistance and durability. According to Sanhua, the valves do not require solder cooling protection on models without access fittings, simplifying the installation process.
Manufactured using an advanced welding process, the GBV series aims to minimize internal leakage and ensure smooth operation. The lightweight construction contributes to increased vibration resistance, reducing the need for additional fixation. The valves support bi-directional flow and feature an anti-falling valve cap and anti-rotating valve stem for easier maintenance.
Sanhua states that the lead-free design of the GBV series helps reduce carbon emissions by approximately 50% compared to brass ball valves.
