Secop introduces KL-CNQX tropical compressors for propane cabinet systems

Secop has launched new tropical KL-Series compressors, including the KL-CNQX, targeting the next generation of light commercial cabinets using environmentally friendly refrigerant propane. The company positions the new KL-CNT and KL-CNQX models as reliable, high-performing and cost-effective, with a focus on high energy efficiency.

The KL-CNQX is a single-frequency (50 Hz) type, while the KL-CNT is offered in dual-frequency versions (50/60 Hz). Secop says both are designed for regions with harsh, demanding environments where voltage fluctuations and high ambient temperatures must be considered.

According to Secop, the tropical KL-Series features a robust design tailored for commercial applications. The compressors have a wide operating voltage range and are designed to start under low-voltage conditions without reverse rotation or stalling.

The KL-Series also includes a patented hermetic terminal plug that Secop says prevents root causes for electrical arcs better, and sets a benchmark in the industry for designing reliable systems with flammable refrigerants.
