Day 1 Highlights

"The reason I love our industry is that what we do in our industry influences people’s daily lives. At the same time, the thing that frustrates me the most is that we behave like we have another 20-30 years to change. I think we need to wake up. We’re running out of time.” Marc Chasserot, Founder, ATMOsphere.

“There is no technical barrier to replace currently used synthetical fluorine containing refrigerants with natural working fluids. It is more about seeing the possibilities than the ghosts when selecting the optimal refrigerant for the project or a product.” Armin Hafner, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Refrigeration Technology, Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).

“We made the transformation. Before we just made F-Gas racks and it was the core of our business… This is something that needs to be transformed and I think we are not the only company and there competitors out there that have the same in the market. I think we can all together grow in Europe” Andreas Meier, Managing Director, TEKO Refrigeration.

“The virtualization approach to the design and study of component behavior contributes to radically reduce the impact of the carbon footprint in the prototyping and testing phase. Even if taken individually it may seem like a small contribution, the set of small contributions always makes an important contribution.” Alessandro Farina, Application Manager, Castel.
