Enex Technologies will showcase solutions using five natural refrigerants — CO2, ammonia, propane, water and newly introduced isobutane (R600a) — at Chillventa 2026, taking place from 13 to 15 October in Nuremberg, Germany. The portfolio covers industrial refrigeration, commercial cooling, heat pumps, process applications and data-centre cooling.
At Stand 7-210, the company will present a new V-Shaped Adiabatic Dry Cooler for process cooling and data centres, as well as the new RENO CO2 Monoblock, a plug-and-play refrigeration unit with an onboard gas cooler and operating pressures of up to 140 bar (approx. 2,031 psi). Other exhibits include the MEGA NH3 Chiller and KUBE CO2 Subcritical Unit.
Enex Technologies will also showcase the Everest R290 air-to-water four-pipe heat pump, featuring a modular three-unit configuration, and a new R600a High-Temperature Booster Heat Pump. The water-to-water isobutane system is intended for process heating, waste-heat recovery and domestic hot-water production.
Data-centre cooling will be a particular focus, with technologies including dry coolers, fan wall solutions, heat recovery and free-cooling approaches. The company says its portfolio focuses on lower refrigerant charges, seasonal performance, compact packaged designs, reduced energy and water consumption, and simpler installation and operation.
At the Chillventa Specialist Forum, Emanuele Sicco will present a lifecycle cost comparison of NH3, transcritical CO2, NH3/CO2 cascade and R290/CO2 cascade systems for low-temperature industrial refrigeration on 14 October. On 15 October, Massimiliano Sfragara will introduce two patented solutions designed to protect finned-tube coils against internal ice formation while allowing pure water to be used instead of glycol.
