TEFCOLD acquired the HoReCa-related business assets of Clima Hosteleria effective July 1, 2026. The company said the transaction will nearly double its market share in Spain and Portugal and marks the TEFCOLD Group’s tenth acquisition since 2018.
Clima Hosteleria supplies commercial refrigeration and hospitality equipment in the Spanish HoReCa market. The acquisition expands TEFCOLD’s product assortment, manufacturer relationships and sales coverage across Spain and Portugal.
The transaction brings Clima Hosteleria’s 22 employees into the group, increasing TEFCOLD’s total workforce across Europe to 230. Clima Hosteleria was founded in 2011 by Nacho Rodrigues and Francisco Lara.
The acquisition follows TEFCOLD’s integration of Horeca Global Solutions, which it acquired in 2024. TEFCOLD said the transaction will not affect the financial results it has just closed because it took effect on July 1.
