Vertiv is expanding its manufacturing campus in Slovakia with approximately 22,000 square meters (approx. 237,000 sq. ft.) of new production space to support growing demand for critical digital infrastructure across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).
The expansion, planned over the next 18 to 24 months, will increase production capacity for power, switchgear and thermal management technologies. These include advanced liquid cooling and power solutions for high-density AI and high-performance computing applications.
Vertiv said the project will further develop the site into an integrated manufacturing and technology campus combining engineering, operations and production capabilities. The company expects the expansion to improve responsiveness to customized requests, accelerate delivery capabilities and strengthen its EMEA supply chain.
The project is also expected to create hundreds of new jobs between 2027 and 2029 across manufacturing, engineering, operations, supply chain, quality, technical and leadership functions.
